GymFlash® For Parents
Our World Through GymFlash® is designed to help parents and teachers introduce fundamental movement concepts to children aged 3 to 6 years. Our World Through GymFlash® introduces easy to follow movement concepts common to beginning gymnastics. Using the colourful illustrations and simple language, Our World Through GymFlash® demonstrates how gymnastics can be explored in a confined space, like at home or a small play room.

The activities follow a main theme – Our World; and are further divided into themes like People, Insects and Animals, The Sky and the Land, Things Around Us , Things in the Sea and Moving Around.

The 20 activities in this book aim to develop co-operative behaviour, listening skills, awareness of space, hand-eye co-ordination, perceptual skills, balance, rolling actions and jumping.

Each activity consists of Objectives, Step-by-step instructions, Safety Tips, GymFlash® Tip and Equipment used in the activity.

The GymFlash® approach is unique in that it is holistic and involves a cross-discipline approach in teaching your children about movement and the world around them. Interaction with other children, listening to and carrying out instructions is integral in the GymFlash® approach. Our aim is also to nurture children’s spontaneity through the imagination while associating various movements to the things around them.
